  1. Great crowd from Killie almost filled the away end of the North. The rest of the stadium looks somewhat sparse!
  2. Team news: OFW Comrie Connolly Gasputis Edwards Dow Pybus Allan Thomas O'Hara Wighton Subs Mehmet Todorov Kennedy Tod McConnell Breen McDonald No Dorans
  3. It will be on my list, I tend to binge watch series on NF so I'll finish The Punisher and Money Heist is next
  4. Nah, our season starts next season! 😉
  5. While going on the basis of "no news is good news" I feel Ross will sadly leave and I cant blame him. When you take on a commitment and then it crosses over and impacts on your family life there is a time to draw a line in the sand. I suspect it may not be imminent as some think and I think Ross will stand down perhaps towards the end of the season. I don't think it would be in his nature to leave when the club is going through a period of transition and you have to respect that
  6. I don't mind a bit of arrogance from a Manager - indeed I think its an essential component to do the job. All managers talk up their team, I don't know of a manager in this league who doesn't. Managers like McCall, Campbell and Duffy will also call a spade a spade and there are a few who talk utter pish too. However all we are getting is cheap patronising talk from a manager whose team is prime spot to be relegated, has not won a league game and had only managed to score 4 goals. What we need is a degree of realism and lets take "one game at a time" and not talk of winning titles and promotion. Pars fans are not stupid and deserve not to be treated as being stupid. There is still the potential to be "morons" though as as some have demonstrated.
  7. Admittedly there will be places i'd probably rather be 🤣
  8. Embarrassment or not I'll be heading to Charlie D's and sitting in the Norrie. This team needs all the support they can get atm
  9. Happy with the win, I thought we were very lucky not to concede a goal - defensively we were rank.
  10. Absolute bloody scandal that nothing has been leaked yet................
  11. After a two week lay off the Pars are in action with a home game against Killie. It has been a turbulent lay off for all sorts of reasons and I’m sure many will welcome the sight of an actual game being played. It also marks the forgettable end of the first quarter of games and we can only hope for an improvement over the remaining three quarters of the season. Former premiership side Killie are considered to be one of the hot favorites for the tile and are well placed in 2nd spot but they haven’t had it all their own way, recent form over the past 5 games has earned them 7pts and in total they have scored just 9 goals and only conceded 4. Mind you that is perhaps a world away from the Pars recent form which we are all familiar with and for the reasons of PTSD its worth leaving well alone. PG remains in post and with the two week break I suspect many are not convinced if there will be dramatic changes to recent form. Defensively we so seem to be in better place but our strikers just can’t buy a goal atm. With all the recent negativity I do hope Pars fans get behind the players but I fear the outcome will be familiar 1-2 win for Killie 😕. COYP
  12. Very sorry to hear that Marv a great and well known Pars supporter who runs the supporters shop (that has donated thousands) that her Husband has sadly passed. I'm sure that all on EEB pass on their condolences and our thoughts are with you
  13. Hearing that as well, Its very sad news, but perfectly understandable. Some individuals have got what they wished for and I have no sympathy for their pathetic jumping on a bandwaggon behaviour or their contrite sycophantic backtracking. Arseholes
  14. In these Covid times this is regarded as a serious assault regardless if someone has been vaccinated. Do this against some key professionals and it is a mandatory jail sentence. Absolute despicable behaviour.
  15. I think i'll leave my pitchfork at home 🤣
  16. So did the man on the grassy knoll!
  17. I’ll admit I’m having real difficulty about yesterday’s statement on several levels, I was reluctant to post in the heat of moment and thought a period of reflection may allow me to have a more pragmatic view. I do think ultimately Grant will be gone but I think he will be there until the beginning of December. I wonder if the board are fearful of making the same mistake and lets be truthful there is no real consensus on who the next manager could be. A longer space will allow the new board time to evaluate what is a difficult decision and perhaps consider potential candidates. We need to attract a quality manager who will galvanise the team and the fans - no easy task but in attracting the right manager we also must be seen as an attractive club where they feel supported and given time to turn the club around. Security is vital – no decent Manager will be taking on a post if they think they are going to be sacked a few weeks down the road. The league is bust, even with a new manager I can’t see now us making a top 4 play off and can only hope for a mid-table spot. Continuing with Grant relegation and division 1 play off is a realistic possibility. Supporters rightly have expectations we should be doing much better but we better get used to it because this is going to be a tough season. Hopefully a new manager coming in towards the end of the year will enable them to “refresh” the team in the Jan window. Wouldn’t bet on any loans though, we are too toxic for that atm. I can understand fans expressing their dissatisfaction and cancelling their lifeline etc, but I will continue to go to games and support the team. I have been Par for many years and remember well the grim years in the 70/80’s. I attended then and will continue to do so and won’t be walking away. Unfortunately the problems we are facing now is becoming more than the manager The statement was a shocker, I can’t believe having read statements from Ross before that he was fully behind that. The board have made some bad decisions but the abuse I have heard from some individuals towards some board members has gone past dissatisfaction to the vindictive. It’s not perfect but largely they are going a decent job for nowt. To bring someone in if they left will cost the club money we can’t afford. I can understand folk are unhappy I’m not happy myself and fans are entitled to be heard but as Dougie Dave would say we don’t need to be “arseholes”.
  18. This is going to get very ugly
  19. There is far too many assumptions being made, I think what's interesting is what's not being said
  20. Listened to the post match comments on COW's - Saying he has given 100% and he wont walk away if a decision has to be made it wont he his, but he sounds like a broken man who doesn't seem to know what to do next.
  21. Possibly, there are rumours of a board meeting, but there is so much guff going on atm I wont build my hopes up. The problem is that he does go - who do we get to replace and will fans get behind them. Personally I'm struggling to see a stand out candidate.
  22. Watched the game on the live stream and while you hope for progress - there was none. Even the commentator on BBC was saying we were rank and players didn't seem to have a purpose. The Board has to reflect if this is sustainable, we are being cut adrift at the bottom and it's not good enough to think without a change we can turn it round and climb the table.
