Paradox Posted January 4, 2019 Report Share Posted January 4, 2019 I think it would be more of a spectacle if all the cars were the same - then it's down to pure driving ability. I'd recommend a trip to F1 though. Not a fan myself, but went to the Monaco Grand Prix a few years ago. It's on at the same time as the Cannes Film Festival, so makes for an amazing weekend. Vinnie Posted January 4, 2019 Author Report Share Posted January 4, 2019 I dont mind different teams have different budgets, but I do think there needs to be a change to the format slightly. Just as an idea, and no idea if this would even be workable, but the top ten from the race previous have a qualifying shoot out to occupy the 11th to 20th grid positions, and the others shoot out for pole to 10th. The faster cars and supposedly better drivers would need to race through the pack to victory making it greater achievement to win, and demonstrating which drivers have some racing skills.
