Just the flimsiest of pretexts, Kaiser. It's generally accepted that the area between Greenock and Fort William receives the highest levels of rainfall in Scotland, yet Morton rarely have games postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Cappielow used to have the reputation of being a mud bath, but in the last couple of decades it has turned that around. I heard it discussed recently on a podcast and have read about also. I remember looking down on it from the train on the way to the league winning game and was amazed at the nick it was in for the final game.

Ok, thanks for the correction. I suppose that makes sense given the turbulence at the club over the last few years.
