Superally
Very sad to hear this especially when the woman's game has been heavily promoted and following the success of the recent tournaments. They even have a highlights package on the BBC. Hopefully a Lazurus style Pars ladies team may appear in the future
Digs
I was speaking to one of their coaches at the weekend and he said this was on the cards. I can’t remember the exact reason but he wasn’t happy and there was lots of internal stuff going on so this doesn’t come as a surprise. the saline hill puma
Shame about this. My daughter is playing for the u9s team and they seem to be getting a good set up in place for progressing up the age groups.

TSHP, thats my concern too, the worrying thing is that once that goes it will be very difficult to re-establish and for a club that's trying to be inclusive and having a community base it will be a shame to see it go. It will be interesting to see the reasons as to why the decision was made.
livipar2
Unfortunately it’s another negative story coming out of the Club.

It will be interesting to see the reasons as to why the decision was made. I've since remembered what the guy told me on Saturday. It was an internal argument around development of players within the coaching team and some of them had had enough and if they didn't have their concerns addressed at a meeting that was happening on Sunday, they were walking. They obviously did. In women's football, it is a bit easier to re-establish in those leagues than it is in the mens game. Whilst it's quite senior a level, the dearth of teams means there is far less bureaucracy in getting entrance to the leagues. In reality, it's only one step missing in the pathway and it's not insurmountable.
The Roy Barry Fan Club
Just to be clear, whilst affiliated to DAFC Ltd, it is an entirely separate undertaking. This gives, perhaps, an opportunity for Dunfermline Athletic to re-launch a senior ladies team under the direct ownership of DAFC Ltd, with considerably more investment. It is clearly a growth area, and should be viewed as on a par (all puns intended) with the men`s game.
Superally
Didn't know that, it certainly offers an opportunity
