Brechin V Pars Highlights

El Patrón

Recommended Posts

Well, we made heavy weather of that! 3 gilt edged chances (not including Moffat's at the end, where his control let him down slightly) should have seen the game wrapped up easily. Glad it didn't cost us at Brechin's late chance.

Still, 3 points away from home, on what looked a poor pitch, will do nicely :-)

Paton needs dropped.  He's done nothing since he returned from injury and that's 2 shocking misses he's had from a few yards out. Luckily it never cost us yesterday, unlike the cup game when he hit County's keeper.

Really thought Brechin were going to equalise in the second half, hence giving Murdoch the MoM.

Good that we are grinding out results without playing well tho - a real change from the last few seasons.

It doesn't matter how we pick up points at the moment, as long as we keep doing so!

Who would you play in his place @Keyser Soze? I can't remember the last time either Wallace or Hoppy played well after starting a match.

To be quite honest I think dropping him to give him a kick up the arse is the most important thing. We have the luxury of having a squad far superior to anyone else in the division and even our fringe players are more than good enough.

He comes across as a player who needs encouraged rather than dropped. His general play is  terrific, just needs to be more composed in front of goal.
