  1. Would be a ridiculous appointment. He shouldn’t be anywhere near the job.
  2. Surely not. We’d have been as well keeping Yogi.
  3. I wonder how much the increased day to day involvement of Meggle will put people off? Dick, for one, would not put up with that.
  4. Ross, Campbell, Petrie etc may not apply but I’d still be trying to speak to them and going from there.
  5. Shocking but not surprising since pitch invasions seem to have been ‘normalised’ once again. Particularly down south.
  6. Actually glad to have a break from the football this year. Hopefully a good managerial appointment and some young, positive signings and I’ll be raring to go next season.
  7. Grants handling of DT was shambolic at best. Make him captain, play him in completely the wrong position, sun him at HT, drop him completely. He may (or may not be a bit of an arse) but is it not the managers job to manage all types of players and get the best out of them? On that front PG and Yogi failed miserably.
  8. I think there is good player in Edwards. I think it’s sometimes forgotten he is only 21 and must have played 150 games or so in League 1/Championship already. Sometimes felt he lacked a bit of confidence and conviction but that actually improved under Yogi with a few goals and getting forward more. Don’t think he benefited from playing with Lawless or Thomas as they tend to ignore the overlap and the fullback in general (the opposite of Dow and Comrie a while ago and Jackie and Ivo back in the day!) I’d probably be looking to extend Edwards contract otherwise we run the risk of someone else getting the benefit of a much improved player. An hour a day working in his right foot would also help.
  9. It’s a good statement and a good start in terms of better communication. I do have a concern about Meggle being more involved. Is his position beyond reproach given he was involved with the previous 2 management appointments? Also he has already been heavily involved in the football side has he not?
  10. Move heaven and earth to get Petrie. That would certainly boost ST’s.
  11. Played well today considering he hadn’t played for ages. For what it’s worth I’d keep him.
  12. Tbh it’s yet another area where the Club needs to up it’s game in terms of marketing, pricing, benefits etc. I would hope this is something our new CEO and German investors are all over…
  13. True! He is one of the few who actually backs up his words on the pitch tho.

  15. Good, honest interview with him online this morning. Thought he was close to losing it with some of his teammates on Friday and rightly so. For me he should be captain rather than Lawless who shouldn’t even be in the team.
  16. Hard to disagree with any of that.
  17. Drew Main quite often comments on threads like this either on here or dot.net. Hopefully he does again or at least noted the fans views on pricing and feeds back. Common sense will then hopefully prevail!
  18. Comrie any day of the week for me.
  19. Great team performance. McGlynn on Radio Scotland reckoned it was an even game with nothing between the teams 🤣😂 Fair to say Jim Duffy, Leanne Crichton didn’t agree!
  20. It would be good to get an update on this and also an update from the new CEO. Don’t see why we can’t get a monthly/bi-monthly update from the CEO - could be written update, video format, fans submit q’s etc. loads of ways to do it.
  21. Walking round in a sling. Hopefully it is short term as we would be very thin up front without him.
  22. McCann and O’Hara with Thomas and Lawless wide. Let’s try and win the game.
  23. Sums things up perfectly!
