So sorry to learn of this news. Bob was an absolute gentleman and very loyal Dunfermline supporter. I got to know him in the troubled times of ten years ago, and he was solidly behind saving the Club as Stanza has noted. He gave me great encouragement at that time -- for which I will always be grateful. I have kept up with him at games ever since, and our most recent conversation was after a game quite recently. Deepest condolences to his family.

An odd game for me. Left EEP disappointed by the performance and in particular the lack of cutting edge up front. Also very concerned about injuries to Todd and Breen. Against that, KRH was almost unplayable in second half. Also good to see Paul Allan back and McGowan getting fitter. Defence was its usual solid self, and I thought Hamilton did the graft in front of back four, and Bene commanded the backline with confidence. Also good to see Comrie back from injury.

Well I enjoyed it as a play. I thought the acting was pretty decent. I think it could be said that the football season is the background which ties it all together, but not in the foreground as some would wish. It is certainly about Dunfermline as well as Dunfermline Athletic. I don't think they made as much of Norrie's death as they could have done. I loved the Pars song at the end -- "Pars --The Musical" awaits..... Certainly worth the ticket money in my view.

I once bumped into him at a Crystal Palace game. Literally. Someone spoke to him from behind him, and he walked into me as he turned his head. Being the gentlemen that we are, we both apologised to each other. And yes. He was wearing the sheepskin coat.

Dunfermline Athletic Heritage Trust would like to extend their sincere condolences to the family of William Seaman who died on 28 January. Wullie had recently donated many interesting items to the Heritage Trust, some going back over seventy years, He had also given a Programme collection to the Dunfermline Carnegie Library local history archive. Wullie was a lifetime supporter of Dunfermline Athletic and indeed was one of the oldest season ticket holders at East End Park, being in his late eighties. He very rarely missed a game. Donald Adamson, Secretary of the Trust, said "Wullie was born in the Pleasance Road, Halbeath, in the house next to my grandparent's cottage. I often chatted to him outside East End Park on match day. He remained as knowledgeable, passionate and committed a Dunfermline supporter as you could ever wish to meet. He was a much loved father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a fine man and a true Par." I would add that after my Dad came back from WWII (North Africa and Italy in his case) there was a knock on the door and it was a young Wullie Seaman enquiring if he was going to the next Dunfermline game, and could he accompany him along the Halbeath Road to East End Park.

That's excellent. I'm going on 2 March (Thursday) and will enjoy this.

It was installed in early 2000s. Boiler overhauled about 7/8 years ago.

Have to agree with Buspasspar. I watched it for 70 minutes and then out to dinner before the annual Christmas concert of Phil Cunningham/Eddie Reader/Karen Mathieson/John McCusker and Kris Drever. In those 70 minutes, France were the worst finalists that i can recall. Argentina were cruising it. Then came home to find that the world had flipped several times. Glad Argentina won though. And just for the record, the World Cup finals were a success despite and not because of FIFA and Qatar.

I've got no great dislike of Falkirk but for their Board to issue a Statement which overtly criticises a rival team for negative play and says that the best team (whatever that means) didn't win when we played them, is in my old fashioned view, lacking in class. Not what a Board should be saying in public. Must be feeling the pressure.

I'd go with the team that started the second half at East End Park on Saturday. That means a back 4 with Hamilton on from the start as the defensive midfielder.

Just heard that Dave has died. Many people will have known Dave well and been aware of his struggle with cancer. He was a lovely, genuine guy and a true Par. He was on the Press Door for many years, and as I sit nearby the Press Box, I used to talk with him at most home games. I will miss him. He was extraordinarily generous in those difficult days of 2012/13 when we were struggling to save the Club, and he helped me in a number of practical ways which I will always remember and be grateful for. Sincere condolences to his family.

Subject to knocks, I think he'll go with the same team as last week. Chris Mochrie has great close ball control, and one of these days he's going to score an absolute peach of a solo goal. I'm just hoping that it is on Saturday.

I'd guess at three at the back with Comrie and Edwards as wing backs. I'd hope to see Mochrie pushed forward so 3-5-2. But who knows?

It seems something of a disadvantage to be both economically illiterate and have a doubtful moral compass.
