Vinnie
Don't think it merited red, but was a bit of a lunge
Turps
2 feet off the ground, easy red.
Vinnie
The trouble with the "two feet of the ground" rule is that slide tackling becomes so much more difficult, in almost every case there will be an element of loss of control. I think the challenge is made to look worse by the angles at which the players collide, rather than any intent/malice/foulplay by Wedderburn. Digs
He's said himself it was a red card but in his defence he said he had slipped and that is why the second leg left the ground and it was worse than he intended.
Salvo Montalbano
Looks a definite red but the one just before isn't too clever either. I'm bit saying it merited a red but to not get a free kick at all from it was terrible refereeing.
