I got batoned in the chest in the centre of Manchester by the Police during the trouble at the UEFA Cup Final. Ironically enough at the time all I was doing was asking some old boy for directions back to the Train Station so I could just get away from the place.

Back in the old days of the cage, I tried to throw a bog roll onto the park in a game against Falkirk (it might have been a title decider/top of the table clash).  It never unfurled into a streamer and landed near enough to a Falkirk player.  Hardly a dangerous weapon, and highly unlikely to hurt the lad, although that was never ever the intention.  I got dragged out of the crowd by the cops and given a wee bit of a bollocking, all the while plenty of others were launching their bog rolls, although many of those did actually unfurl.

Not quite as petty as burping in public.

Yes after an incident at EEP.

Kicked the back of a chair in the North West in frustration which to my horror subsequently broke the back of it. The Steward who spoke to me was fairly reasonable and said I would have to leave the ground and to contact Kenny during the week about the seat which I had offered to pay the repair bill for.

As soon as I was out the ground the police officer who escorted me out put my arm behind my back and took me round to the main stand. I was then read my rights by the commanding officer (I guess), handcuffed and bundled in to the back of a police van.

I was then taken down to the police station and spent 4 hours in a cell, details taken and a warning put against me for 6 months.

The next game at EEP the Steward I spoke to was shocked and said all he wanted was for me to be taken out the ground. Kenny was also apologetic not that it was his fault.

I got charged with Common Fraud for having the wrong train ticket.

This was about 13 years ago, and the Fife Circle trains were even less reliable than they are now. Trains were cancelled left right and centre and were constantly late, This was making me late for work every day, and so my boss started docking me.

Their shocking service was costing me money so I stopped buying tickets, then if there was a guard at Haymarket, I'd buy a single from the Gyle. The way I saw it, they were due me money.

Unfortunately one day, there was a clampdown with plain clothes British Transport Police. I got one particularly snotty conductor who clearly thought he was questioning Fred West, when I asked for a single from the Gyle and when I tried to walk away as he was making me even more late, he grabbed my arm, as if he was the Police, so I told him to GTF. One of the Transport Police came over and started questioning me on where I got on the train. I never changed my story so they charged me, read me my rights etc.

By this point, I was starting to brick it a wee bit as I didn't really fancy losing my job (some of my clients were banks and I wouldn't have been allowed to work on their stuff). That day I bought myself a season ticket, and have done ever since.

I got a letter about two months later giving me a warning. In retrospect, they had no evidence of where I had got on so it was my word against theirs and so the charges were never going to stick. It did annoy me, though. If they had put as much effort into their services as opposed to harrassing already p-ed off passengers the service would be a lot better. To be fair, in comparison, it now is.

Never been in trouble with the police in Britain.

The only time was when i was a young 20 year old on a lads holiday in Magaluf. Arrived at night and we just dropped our bags and left to hit the bars/clubs.

After a lot more drinking and unable to find anyone i was going to go back to the hotel but didn't have a clue what name it was or where i was so went to sleep on a sun lounger down the beach.

I awoke with 2 police battering me trying to get me up and of the beach. i got a fair doing of them tbh and never returned to the beach for the week.

One time when walking home after a night out in Dunfermline, a police van screeched up beside me and 6 of them jump out and surround me. They start questioning me and when I reveal that I'm just walking home and that I'm not getting a taxi because I couldn't afford it, they just fired back in the van and ****ed off home. Was very odd.

Once got refused entry at East End for daring to loudly sing Pars songs on the way to the ground. I was walking away when a policeman started shouting at me to stop. I pretended not to hear them but 4 of them ran after me and surrounded me and took my details and ran their checks (nothing came back obviously; I'm a good lad). Was completely unnecessary from them and an utter waste of time. Luckily this was before the Offensive Behaviour at Football act or else I could have gotten a record.

Not to mention Tynecastle...

Ah yes; ejected for the heinous crime of standing. Was there not a photo of it as well?

I've just remembered another one. It was in Glasgow, about 2003ish. Me and some friends had been at a gig and were in The Cathouse after. One of our friends was a bit too drunk so whilst the other two finished up their drinks, I took him outside. The other two were taking ages and I was bursting for a ****, and the bouncers wouldn't let me back in to use the toilets. I ended up taking a **** in a shop door (I know, poor behaviour) only to be caught by the police. Someone I managed to talk my way out of a fine or arrest by saying that I was from Dunfermline (not strictly true) and that it was fine there.
