dpard
Anyone recommend any good comedies? I'm a scrubs, big bang theory, only fools, fawlty towers type of comedy fan.

Digs
If you like Scrubs, you'll like New Girl. Brooklyn 99 is similar too.

Paradox
If you like Scrubs, try Cougar Town.A lot of the cast from Scrubs are in it, and the storyline is a bit like a suburban middle-aged version of Friends (little surprise that Courteney Cox is the star). Also a new black comedy on Sky Atlantic called Divorce, starring SJP. worldwiderab
dpard, Modern Family deserves a mention and is worth watching if only to see Sofia Vergara. Also I liked Hi De Hi. As I worked in Butlins for a summer season and watching Hi De Hi was like going back in time and I can tell you that the script writers toned down what did actually go on in a holiday camp, I could bore you for minutes on end about what happened down at Filey. dpard
@worldwiderab Yeah the missus watches Modern Family, not really found it funny but Sofia Viagra, I mean, Vergara is def worth the watching. Used to enjoy watching Hi de Hi. It wouldnt be hard to imagine how toned down they'd have to make it from real life. Can only guess it was 'interesting'.......
