  1. He's an arse. Seriously though top guy Donald. Ross rightly took allot of the praise during the troubles but Donald is a bit of an unsung hero. TPC
  2. That's fair enough. I know of one incident a few years ago tbf thinking about it with a fan being taken away and spoken to outside of legends/Charlie ds. But I've kinda let that go.
  3. I thought William was a director of the CIC holding company? If so it's not really a surprise he's in and around the club in directors boxes etc. Seems to be allot of chat about them and people making comments but no one is willing to come out and tell me anything concrete (well except one thing about manager appointment and I don't even know if that's true of just a malicious rumour). It's seems to be a wee whisper here and there, gossip about things I should and shouldn't do. I'm actually getting a bit bored with it all, if folk have something to say let's just say it and people be honest about it Today was a ganting performance again, relied on 2 keepers mistakes to score against Ayr. Offered nothing against Killie and nothing today. I think Ayr will win next week against a partick side who will probably ease up to save themselves for their own playoffs. I suspect the teams we play in the playoffs will sit in...and I can't see us having the firepower to break a back 5 or a midfield 5. And we will defo concede. ****ed tbh
  4. Read the article yesterday. I have no idea why he has done that interview, I have no idea what his goal was. He sounds angry. Absolute madness and you can tell he doesn't like locally to speak to people in and around KDY
  5. 1-1, Ayr with an early goal and we struggle to break them down in a similar way to the Morton Game. I would be interested to know how many of our goals have came in open play this year and havn't been shots from outside the box(I can think of two that Thomas has against Rovers and ICT which were both wonder strikes).
  6. @Secure Par @Rossmcno1 https://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/sport/football/falkirk-fc-club-own-up-to-failing-youths-3645616
  7. Shambles of a club. The story of the youth team this week is another of long line of embarrassments for them
  8. I'm worried queens might be down by the time they play Ayr in the second last game which means we really need to take something on Particks horrendous pitch. Maybe they will have playoffs by then. Another big day today. If we can somehow sneak a win and ayr lose and beat them next week then the games the following week arnt as important providing we get the job done against queens on the last day
  9. I can't really be bothered giving a proper in depth analysis. In summary it's garbage again. I'm away to raffles to drown my sorrows. Get the Falkirk out.
  10. Good to see this thread. Christine has done a power of work in doing these.
  11. Just to echo what piracy is saying. We just have our own tight nit group. The bus polices itself in the most part and its more of a group of mates meeting up and going to the game. I think we have it down to T now with the running of it etc so I don't think we need any help from the club or need to attend meetings at present but it's good the offers there if we ever require it.
  12. I suppose it will depend what the plan is. If he is basically taking over the tasks of Ross it might be very similar to what it is just now. If the plan is to "professionalise" the club we might see an increase of full time non football staff which means increasing the budget for that side of things. I think at the moment we only have something like 4 full time members of staff outside the football side of things..I wonder if the budget will be increased for the non football side and we will see more people coming in. I suppose that will be one of the first things David does is to assess what we are doing..what we can do and then ask for budget if he feels more staff is needed.
  13. A cowdenbeath women used it in this video Its also menitioned here Fife Dialect from Readers. – The Fife Post………..for genealogy and historical information. "If you went out to play and got filthy , you were ‘black’ or ‘Muckin.’ – (dirty or really filthy)"
  14. It's definitely used in fife in the context of calling someone dirty or doing something disgusting. I was told once it came from the miners as they were black when they came out from their shift down the pit. Ayrshire being a mining area as well thats possibly why they use it
  15. Apparently Mcglynn is out of contract in the summer
  16. I have no idea how you would get rid of Sim completely from the club the way its structured tbh, so it looks like he will be there medium to long term. After the payoff to DG(and the loss of income this might have caused) I cant see the club forking out to payoff the management team either. Heres a question actually. If the club decide not to pay him off and he sits for 2 and a half years taking a wage without playing would fans be happy going to the games and paying his wages until the end of his contract? I suppose the fans money is going to be used regardless tbf
  17. I think the anger might calm down a bit but I think allot of people won't forgive for a long time. I don't think sponsors will be rushing back anytime soon to support the board. The problem they have is Sim (the chairman) owns the stadium and the club have unpaid rent racking up to the stadium company(remind you of anyone?). So they can't really get rid of him very easily.
