Aye, the True Blues are not taking it very well at all, are they? There's a lot hate and bitterness out there on social media, perfectly illustrated by Shooboax's example above. It's shocking and funny at the same time.

It all stems from the delusion that Therangers are a big club, bigger than Villa, bigger than any club in the EPL, actually, the most successful and decorated club in world football. How could Gerrard be so crazy as to leave such a wonderful institution for a diddy wee English club, who they hope will now be relegated and him sacked. Any reasonable fan, would thank him for leading the club to their first league title and wish him well in his continuing apprenticeship for the Liverpool job. Is it a coincidence that his contract with Villa will expire at the same time as Klopp has said he will leave?

And there are folk who think Derek McKinnes will be asked again to become their next manager, after snubbing them a few years ago? There's more chance of the Pars asking PG to come back. 😀

It's the same thing after Rodgers went to Leicester.   They get so caught up in the rivalry they forget there's a whole world of football that doesn't include them.
