It is important for them as the Brown family are exiting this summer, after an outstanding era of stewardship. You would think the second bottom would have too much quality for a resurgent Partick Thistle (I can't see Ayr coming through the deficit) but momentum is a big thing, so I wouldn't rule Plastic Whistle out. Him, his agent and the Daily Record really screwed us over. For anyone that cares he is playing for Cavalry FC in the Canadian Premier League.
