In the meantime, we then signed Ben Summers, then Jakubiak and he sent his agent back to accept it and was told, too late, we had everyone we need so it's off the table. I don't get how people get so angsty about contract negotiations. We've got our position as a club and he/his agent have there's, neither party can force the other. He wasn't in any way responsible to agree a deal lower than he felt he could get and we weren't required to meet his demands. Ultimately there wasn't a deal to be done in this situation and both parties have moved on. Its buisness, no more.
