Grant
As was heavily rumoured it's a 7 figure loss, the reasons given on the Cows seems absolutely wild to me. https://dafc.co.uk/club-update-annual-accounts-2022-23-season/ Not sure how we've managed to spend that much when we had such a light squad. parsforlife
Big questions to be answered and that statement just creates more.
Piracy
Didn't want to say I told you so, but, I told you so. That's a big loss and concerning. I'll have a few questions once I've read the statement and try interpret what it may actually mean.

Am I seeing things? Did they actually mention NOT being in the league 1 play-offs as a contributory factory to a million pound loss? That's utterly mental.
Secure Par
Those accounts are worrying! Will need to sell a couple of players like Otto etc in the summer if any teams come in.
Al k
"We do expect to see improvements in the following year’s accounts" id ****ing hope so.
Superally
I'm tempted to think that being in the playoffs as opposed to winning the championship would be little in terms of revenue! It seems a slightly bizzare statement to me
kelty_par
Very worrying! Dread to think if we go down. Nisbet money too in those accounts…

If we got to the Play Offs and got promoted, surely it would have only been 2 home games against the likes of Airdrie/Montrose?

I thought the play off money was put into a pot by the SPFL and distributed among its member clubs. Is that not the case? I also believe we posted a modest profit in our previous season in League 1, but we obviously had bigger outgoings last season.

Lower league play-offs home clubs keep all revenue, premiership play off SPFL takes 50% of revenue.
DA-go Par Adonis
Those accounts are made up to 31st May 2023. I think Nisbet signed for Millwall in June 2023.

The rumoured £185,000 from Nisbet went straight into the general cash flow did it not? I'm sure that was said at a supporters engagement session. Piracy
I'm hoping that in efforts to professionalise the club these new club employees with decent salaries are establishing new revenue streams and getting the best deal for the club in contract negotiations etc.
