Played with Mcpake previously but thought he looked quite slow at the rovers
lambo1885
Might work out at this level, but looked finished last season.
Al k
Preferred it when we signed their good players.

Agree I thought he looked done too. Broadfoot would be a better signing based on last season’s performances
Keyser Soze
Review from a neebur who supports Raith is as follows ”He’ll have 5 or 6 games without A disaster then get put on his arse by some jobber like Robbie Muirhead and gift a goal”. Tbh, that’s about the standard we’ll be looking at in League One
scottyboy
Cannae mind him, but remember the name. Is he the one that had a beard? Read that he couldn't agree terms with new manager, maybe we offering more money. Edited June 3, 2022 by scottyboy It's no him with beard
Superally
Sadly our ambition is limited with the league we are in. I think he will do us a job, he is reasonably consistent and obviously has the qualities of being a Captain, and god knows we need some leadership. I thought he was a bit slow, but it seems McGlynn was keen to take him to Falkirk so he is confident of his abilities. Was surprised to learn he is only 30 - seems he has been around for much longer
Tartan Army Par
From what I heard, he had a poor start to last season but was decent after Christmas. Seems a bit young to be done a 30. I think it will be a good signing.
Digs
Hmm. Not enthralled by this tbh, but it’s what we should expect I think.

That experience and leadership would be helpful if we're doing the young development thing again, which I hope we are.
Berry
I’d be surprised if Benedictus is ‘done’ at the age of 30, has he suffered a long term injury in the past or is it that he just needs to work on his fitness?
kelty_par
Looked far too slow last season. That was a huge thing for fans with Ambrose. 2 raith boys I work with both said they’re happy he’s moving on
Piracy
Not a bad signing, but let's hope we can add some quality as well as these jobber type players.
rosythpar
Hopefully we sign Chris Hamilton soon.
Al k
Don't want want him near the club. Not with his history too. Leave him for Falkirk.
