Don't want want him near the club. Not with his history too.

Leave him for Falkirk.

Plenty in Scottish football who have done stuff in the past and as long as they done their time, don’t see why they shouldn’t get a 2nd chance

That's right, I wasn't aware he had apologized and made up with both victims. Only just found it, missed it the last time after his car crash statement on Goodwullie.

Still wouldn't want him maybe strong but he's slow, be as bad as Ambrose dropping a division. He was shocking against us, lucky not be sent off in the 0-0

The guy has been captian of a side that's been top end championship team for a couple years. We are a league 1 team. Not really getting how folk are a bit down about this potential signing. If we get him and Hamilton in, then it's a good start to McPake's recruitment for next season.

Efe Ambrose was a Nigerian internationalist who had played at the top level.

Key word, "was". We have a fanbase who are absolutely fantastic at looking at things in isolation, Benedictus star has been on the wane for a while now, while some Raith fans will tell you that he hasn't been the same since he broke his leg.

Going from Donaldson to Benedictus is a fair downgrade.

Or flip it the other way, getting Chris Hamilton is a fair upgrade on anyone we had last season

The Rovers defence has been pretty solid against us in the last couple of seasons - and Benedictus has been a part of that.  He didn't play in every game, but one of the two he missed was our 4-1 win.  I don't watch enough of them out with the derby games to know if he's on the slide overall but I'd take the opinion of McGlynn, who tried to sign him for Falkirk, ahead of a Rovers fan's assessment in the wake of him leaving.

Whilst he may be a downgrade on Donaldson, we'll likely play with at least 2 centre backs, so is it not fair to say he's an upgrade on Ambrose?
