Mr Mac
They are both proper late 80's - early 90's keeper kits... quite like them.
SanguinePar
Really like both of them. The Qbert one is mental, but I love that in a goalie top.
livipar2
I like them both, the second one in particular. I guess if you want to sell a decent amount then they need to stand out a bit and they certainly do. Certainly far from boring.
Digs
The patterns aren’t about sales, it’s psychology. Loud and garish designs on goalie tops are supposed to make the keeper appear larger and therefore the goal smaller by catching the strikers eye rather than focussing on the space they’re trying to put the ball and draw the ball towards them. No idea if it works or not but that’s the idea.

Qbert what a description, i actually don't mind it. Might even consider it for a new running top. I reckon it could be as iconic as the Hummel GK top that a few teams had in the eary/mid 90's. No idea if it works or not but that’s the idea. True stuff. I played as a goalkeeper growing up in the era of Jorge Campos style tops and decided to get one of the most incredibly bright and garish efforts available at the time. Lets just say it takes more than a garish top to be a decent keeper, and those tops don’t help when you’re having a bit of a mare 🫣

Boston Red Sox
The new top is a thing of absolute beauty, I don’t buy tops but this thing is a must, even for a fat kent like me (as per piracy’s plasticine stuffed into a Johnny)

Boston Red Sox
Bit of a quirk about it and it will be getting bought at the first opportunity. I don’t see anything like it in the errea catalogue so I assume it is indeed bespoke Edited June 18, 2023 by Boston Red Sox
